Amaterasu's Mirror:

Dreams, Art and Venus Retrograde

A Soul Work Gathering for

Turbulent Times

The demands and the noise of life can pull us in so many directions.

BUT! Maybe there is something inside that is asking for attention.

Old desires, values, relationships, questions or patterns may be stirring again.

Dreams and images may be appearing without a clear understanding of what they are asking.

If you are hearing a tiny call for greater meaning and fulfillment.

Amaterasu’s Mirror offers a space to turn toward these signals.

You will have the opportunity to slow down enough

to listen more deeply to what your inner life may be asking of you.

See more clearly what matters now,
what no longer belongs,
what wants to be reclaimed, and
what may be ready to emerge.

Through dreams, creative practice, symbolic reflection and conversation within a small community, you will strengthen your capacity to discern the movements of psyche and soul.

So that, as you move into the next chapter of your life, you can do so with greater clarity, greater consciousness and a stronger connection to your own inner authority.

Find meaning,  resilience, and deep knowing through myths,
soul reflection, and creative expression

Nine weeks, starting September 27, 2026:

spanning the full arc of Venus's only retrograde this year,

from the approach through the station retrograde on October 3,
to the station direct on November 13, and out the other side.

This is not another class or lecture.

This is SOUL-WORK.

If you are longing for a deeper connection to what is most alive and true within you, Amaterasu's Mirror offers a place to listen for it.

A place where your dreams are valued and honoured as sacred messages from the Soul.

A place where the stories, images and emotions that keep returning can be explored for the meaning they may carry.

A place where creative practice becomes a way of discovering what you cannot yet put into words.

And where you do not have to do this work alone.

You will be part of a small, witnessing community in which dreams, myth, image and creative expression become mirrors for the life you are living now.

Together, we will create a living container for soul.

Venus Retrograde - 2026

The background of our journey is the Venus Retrograde from October 3, 2026 to November 13, 2026.

We will use this archetypal backdrop this rare astrological event as the lens for our personal re-evaluation.

When Venus is retrograde, she asks us to turn inward instead of projecting outward.

She wants us to shut a door and reflect on a relationship, a project, a version of yourself that got interrupted.

We are asked...

What happens in the cave, what do you make while you're in there, and what do you bring out with you when you leave?

What is a Soul Work Gathering

Our Soul Work Gatherings offer a quiet, safe, creative space to listen to the soul through dreams, time to create with a guided prompt, and sharing with others in community.

Rooted in Jungian psychology, storytelling, art, creative expression and the symbolic language of astrology, this seven-week experience is designed for seekers who crave depth, meaning, and community.

Together, we’ll reflect on the planetary forces—Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto—and their echoes in our personal stories, collective movements, and the universal patterns shaping our world right now.

Session Themes

🎨 What Happens in Each Session?

  • ✔️  Community Dreamwork (50 min): Share dreams and reflect together. Our process is called "If this were my dream."

  • ✔️  Creative Exploration (60 min): Video making, digital art, collage, journaling, intuitive art- whatever moves you and however you feel called to express

  • ✔️   Sharing Circle (40 min): Witness and be witnessed in community

No artistic skill required—just your open heart.

In a time when life feels fragmented, and spirituality has become either rigid or performative, this is a return to embodied soulfulness—where myth, dreams, and shared ritual ground us again.

This soul-work explores our connections to universal life cycles through Venus's descent into the underworld, as told in the Japanese myth of the Sun Goddess Amaterasu.

What people have said

about previous

Soul Work gatherings

"

“As someone who does most of their job over Zoom, I am amazed at how each session was so much more than a video call. You've managed to create what I can only describe as an environment, a dynamic space with a unique feel of its own and none of the usual "Zoom" fatigue I know so well. I appreciate the evident pre-planning and respect for our time, but also for our opinions and feelings, making all voices heard and holding space for everyone in such a large group of people. I felt something I didn't plan for or expect--a sense of commitment to our group and each individual person. I loved being exposed to people I never would have met otherwise. At the same time, I felt safe to develop a unique and intimate experience of my own.” ”
